About 900 grade 9 students in North Bay will be at the Capitol Centre on Wednesday for a motivational speaker event.
They’ll be taking in the inspirational sports movie ‘Rudy’ and hearing from Daniel ‘Rudy’ Ruettiger himself.
The North Bay Police Service’s Community Engagement Unit is hosting the event.
Officials say Ruettiger will speak on resiliency, goal setting and following your dreams.
Police also say the Capitol Centre parking lot will be closed from 8 am on Tuesday until 4 pm on Wednesday.
McIntyre St East between Ferguson and Wyld streets will also be closed for a couple short durations on Wednesday.
The road will be closed between 9 am and 9:45 am and again between 2 pm and 2:45 pm.
