It’s a championship sweep for Chippewa’s soccer program.
All three teams, the junior and senior boys and varsity girls, won NDA titles with wins on Tuesday.
The varsity girls scored a 2-1 win over Algonquin while the senior boys shut out St. Joseph-Scollard Hall (SJSH) 2-0.
In junior boys, Chippewa won 4-3 in extra time over SJSH.
School officials say it’s the first time in Chippewa’s history that all three soccer teams have won their respective NDA banners in the same year.
Chippewa is hosting the OFSAA boys AA soccer championship June 6-8.
Games are being played at Nipissing University, Steve Omischl Sports Complex and Cundari Field at St. Joseph–Scollard Hall.
