The North Bay Police Service says the Emergency Response Team (ERT) will be training at various locations around the city on Wednesday (May 29).
Police say residents should not be alarmed if they see an increased police presence in different areas of North Bay.
The local Emergency Response Team is training with members from Peel Regional Police Service.
Officials add the training will not result in any street closures and signs will be posted letting people know about training locations.
Police say the ERT uses specialized skills, tactics, and equipment to protect public safety and respond to unpredictable situations and high-risk incidents.
