East Ferris will be raising the Pride flag on Saturday morning (9 am) in celebration of Pride Month and the 2SLGBTQI+ community.
“We look forward to seeing you as we come together to celebrate love, acceptance, and equality for all,” the municipality posted on social media.
A council motion was approved Tuesday to reconsider an earlier decision not to fly the flag for the entire month, and to support raising the Pride flag for one day on June 1.
It received unanimous support, 4-0, from the councillors in attendance.
Both North Bay and West Nipissing will be raising the Pride flag on Monday, June 3.
