Grand reveal week underway at the North Bay Public Library

This is ‘Grand Reveal Week’ at the North Bay Public Library.

Several events are lined up to celebrate the reopening of the library’s front entrance on Worthington Street East, which was closed for renovations last September.

Officials will be presenting to a council committee Monday night, detailing the latest available stats from 2022, which show 149,000 visits to the library.

They say numbers from 2023 are expected to be higher.

A ribbon cutting is taking place Tuesday morning to celebrate the front entrance reopening.

Other work included a new roof, digital outdoor sign, front counter, and upgrades to meeting spaces.

Other events include a temporary tattoo station, ice cream at the library, giant games day and more.
