Holy Cross Catholic Elementary School will be back open Thursday, June 6 after the school was closed Wednesday for a police investigation.
On June 5, North Bay Police reported a shooting in the parking lot of the school during the overnight hours with a 21-year-old man arrested nearby.
A 19-year-old was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound and at last check, police said he was in serious condition.
Because of an increased police presence the school was closed to students to support the police investigation.
Holy Cross says North Bay Police confirmed the incident involved two adults with no association to the school and that there is no threat to public safety.
