Education Series returning to the Capitol Centre

Four shows described as a unique cultural experience for students and educators are coming to the Capitol Centre next season.

Officials say the inaugural Next Generation Education Series was a hit so they’re bringing it back, with an added show this year.

Performances are specifically curated for young audiences and offer ways to complement the school curriculum, so it’s more than a traditional field trip.

The shows, which include no ticketing costs, are offered exclusively as part of the education series and are not available to the public.

They include:

  • Dufflebag Theatre Presents: Snow White/Blanche Neige – Wednesday, Oct. 16 – 10 am (English) & 1 pm (Bilingual) Recommended for JK through Grade 7
  • The Alphabet of Awesome Science – Monday, Mar. 24 – 10 am Recommended for Grades 1 through 8
  • Cirque Kalabante: Afrique en Cirque – Tuesday, Apr. 22 – 12:30 pm Recommended for Grades 1 through 12
  • Kattam and His Tam-Tams – Tuesday, May 13 – 10 am (English) & 1 pm (French). Recommended for Kindergarten through Grade 6

Educators interested in bringing their group or class can contact [email protected] to reserve their spot before the summer break.
