Three Battalion forwards were drafted by NHL teams in Las Vegas on the weekend.
Ethan Procyszyn was selected by Anaheim in round three with the 68th overall pick.

“I can’t wait to get started with Anaheim and continue working hard with North Bay,” says Procyszyn, in a release from the Troops.” I love this sport and can’t wait to keep playing.”
The Vancouver Canucks drafted Anthony Romani in the sixth round, with the 162nd overall pick while Dalyn Wakely was selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the sixth round, with the 192nd overall pick.
Adam Dennis, Battalion president and director of hockey operations says the team is very happy their players were recognized in Las Vegas.
“It’s been fun working with these young men, and to see a dream realized is something special to watch,” he says. “We look forward to helping them make the transition to professional hockey and take the next step in their careers.”
Dennis, general manager John Winstanley and coach Ryan Oulahen were at the seven-round NHL draft.
The Troops also say the Chicago Blackhawks have invited defenceman Wyatt Kennedy to their development camp while the Montreal Canadiens extend an invitation to defenceman Bronson Ride.
