The Labour Market Group is reporting a second straight month of year-over-year increases in job postings in Nipissing.
621 job postings were recorded in May.
LMG says that’s up nearly 17% from the same month last year while it’s up 24% compared to this April.
The 270 employers posting jobs was also up slightly.
The top five include:
- North Bay Regional Health Centre
- Near North District School Board
- Nipissing University
- Ontario Northland
- Voyageur Aviation Corp
Health Care & Social Assistance was the top hiring industry followed by Educational Services and Retail Trade.
