The North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC) says its Emergency Department is experiencing longer than normal wait times.
The hospital posted a statement on social media on Monday.
Officials say when patients first arrive, the sickest, or most emergent, are seen first and those looking for non-urgent care can expect to experience high volumes and long wait times.
The hospital says patients can visit its website to see the wait time tracker.
There’s also a list of community resources for non-urgent needs including visiting other emergency departments in our district.
