Clean Green Beautiful (CGB) North Bay is thanking everyone for doing their part for the National Communities in Bloom (CiB) competition.

As reported earlier this week, two national judges were here to evaluate the city.
Local officials say they’re grateful for the volunteers who contributed to enhancing the community through clean-ups, plantings, heritage conservation, acts of kindness, and more.
During their visit, the judges explored several locations like the Waterfront, Chippewa Creek EcoPath, cenotaph at Memorial Park and a tree nursery to name a few.
They also took part in various activities including a helicopter tour, Chief Commanda II cruise and more.
“Seeing the pride each organization took in showcasing their incredible work was inspiring,” says Sarah McGowan, Communities in Bloom committee member. “North Bay’s commitment to improving life for everyone is evident, and we’re proud of all the groups involved.”
The awards ceremony will be held in October in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, where winners will be announced, and evaluations shared.
