Clean Green Beautiful North Bay’s Fall Community Clean-up is here.
Everyone is invited to find an area of the city they’re passionate about cleaning, whether it’s a neglected park, a littered street, or a polluted shoreline.
“Every corner of our city matters, and your efforts will have a lasting impact,” says Terry Parolin, CGB Litter Pick-up Lead.
The two-day event kicks off Saturday morning with biodegradable bags available for pick-up at the group’s booth at the Farmer’s Market downtown.
Volunteers are encouraged to register at cleangreenbeautiful.com.
That’s also where they can find safety guidelines and tips on safe waste disposal, wearing protective gloves, and carefully handling sharp or hazardous objects.
Officials earlier reported it has been a busy year of cleaning up the community, with over 3,300 bags have been distributed.
