Monday is Remembrance Day, and several area communities are pausing to mark the occasion.
A couple of ceremonies are taking place in North Bay.
One is at Memorial Gardens, while the other is at West Ferris Legion Branch 599.
The ceremony in East Ferris takes place on Saturday with a parade to the cenotaph.
Bonfield’s ceremony is on Sunday.
More are taking place on Monday, including Callander, Mattawa, Sturgeon Falls and others.
