A 29-year-old man wanted by city police has been arrested in Barrie.
The North Bay Police Service was alerted on January 21 about an ankle monitor being removed while the man was before the courts on multiple charges.
Police say on Wednesday tactical units with the Barrie Police Service and the OPP Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad located and arrested the man at a Barrie residence.
He has since brought back to North Bay where he was charged with three counts of failing to comply with a release order.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
City police are thanking Barrie and Provincial Police, along with the public, for their assistance.
