We may be dealing with another freezing rain warning right now, but golf season really isn’t that far off.
To that end, registration is now open for the NICU Charity Golf Tournament. The May 25 event at Osprey Links Golf Course is supporting the North Bay Regional Health Centre in purchasing biliblankets for newborns.
Officials say biliblankets use blue light to break down excess bilirubin in newborns, preventing severe complications like neurological damage.
The golf event features a $10,000 Hole in One challenge and new this year is the heckle hole, sponsored by 106.3 Jet FM & Country 90.5 FM. Golfers will be challenged to keep their cool while facing playful banter.
