The third annual Hometown Run for Youth Special Olympics North Bay takes place on Sunday.
It starts at the North Bay Museum and includes a 10 km and 5 km run, as well as a 1 km family fun run/walk.
“The third annual Hometown Run for Youth Special Olympics is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together to support our amazing Special Olympic youth athletes while getting a bit of exercise,” says Lisa O’Kane, race co-director. “We hope this event continues to be a mainstay in our community for years to come.”
Funds raised will help sponsor local Special Olympics Athletes so their fees and registration costs can be covered throughout the upcoming season.
Registration can be done online through Saturday, May 3.
