A 20-year-old North Bay man is facing charges following a police investigation into a stabbing incident on Manitou St. last Thursday.
The North Bay Police Service says around 9:00 a.m., officers were dispatched to a disturbance, and upon arrival, found a man suffering from injuries from a sharp object. He was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Police say the accused was then taken into custody a short time later.
He’s being charged with one count each of assault with a weapon, aggravated assault and uttering threats.
The victim, who was known to the accused, was treated for his injuries and released from the hospital.
The accused remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
