More than 80 commercial vehicles were stopped for inspection as part of a training operation between city police and the OPP at the end of April.
Officers issued 58 Provincial Offence Notices, along with 36 warnings while eight commercial vehicles were taken out-of-service.
Police say one driver was arrested and charged with impaired by drug, and his commercial vehicle was impounded.
The operation included two days of in-class training and two days of enforcement in the North Bay area.
As part of Road Safety Week, the North Bay Police Service Traffic Enforcement Unit will be conducting another CMV blitz, again in partnership with the OPP.
