Several roads have been rebuilt in Bonfield after washouts and flooding from last weekend’s storm.
The township says that includes Pine Lake, Talon Lake, Shields Point and Van Doeler roads, along with Farmer’s Line, with touch ups and grading still needed.
Work continues on other roads, as well.
The state of emergency continues, as it does in Calvin, although Bonfield says the emergency control group is meeting Thursday morning to re-assess the situation.
Calvin Township says with road repairs ongoing; they continue to ask drivers to travel with care throughout the municipality with heavy vehicles and workers present.
Fire bans also remain in effect.
