Canadore College students will be around town shining anything from shoes to cars for donations to its Shinerama campaign on Saturday.
President of Canadore Students’ Council, Sharmarke Mohamed, says cystic fibrosis is a disease that affects so many people, and he hopes this is the year they find a cure for it.
Saturday’s public event is the second phase to CSC’s Shinerama efforts.
On September 1st, students held a BBQ fundraiser for Canadore employees that raised well over $600.
All monies raised will be remitted to Cystic Fibrosis Canada for research and care.
