Hepatitis C nurses and staff from the AIDS Committee of North Bay & Area, Réseau Access Network Sudbury and the Sault Ste. Marie Group Health Centre will be heading out for the second annual Hepatitis C Testing Northern Tour starting Monday.
The group begin’s its tour in Espanola on Monday, then will head to Wawa, Pic Mobert, Chapleau, Cochrane, Timmins and wrap up in Kirkland Lake.
ACNBA nurse practitioner, Keri McGuire Trahan, says the annual event provides important testing opportunities for those living in the outlying locations of the north, and raises awareness about the many other services available through the three agencies.
