The New District of Nipissing Paramedic Services Station in North Bay is now officially open to the public.
The ceremony to open the station took place yesterday, which was exactly one year after the ground-breaking ceremony took place.
The new station is located just off the Highway 17 bypass at 1715 Seymour Street. The modern facility was completed on time and on budget. It has been designed and constructed to meet the current and future needs of citizens.
Yesterday’s ceremony was attended by local dignitaries and members of the paramedic services community. It specifically recognized and thanked the paramedics who serve the District 24/7 during the most challenging times of citizens’ lives.
