As part of the Cassells Street rehabilitation project, the City has started work on replacing the Chippewa Creek bridge.
The bridge, located between Chippewa and Aubrey Streets, is now closed, meaning pedestrian traffic will not be allowed for the time being.
City officials say pedestrians will be detoured around on Chippewa Street, through to High Street and across to Olive Street. The work is expected to wrap up in late-September.
