North Bay OPP says a RIDE check has resulted in charges against four people from Timmins.
Police say early Tuesday morning, they stopped the vehicle and began an investigation into the impairment of the driver. During the investigation, police seized drugs suspected of being methamphetamine and cannabis.
A 30-year-old has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (four counts)
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
- Failure to Comply with Release Order
- Obstruct Peace Officer
- Possession for the Purpose of Distribution
A 22-year-old was charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (four counts)
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
- Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon
- Possession for the Purpose of Distribution
A 33-year-old has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (four counts)
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
- Possession for the Purpose of Distribution
A second 33-year-old was charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (four counts)
- Possession for the Purpose of Distribution
Police say all four remain in custody pending a bail hearing.
