Students across the North Bay area are going to getting an out of this world opportunity today.
Astronaut Jeremy Hansen is in the Gateway City to speak about his experience working for NASA.
A morning session was held for post-secondary and high school students at Canadore’s Aviation campus.
In the afternoon Hansen will be visiting some local elementary school.
Jeremy Hansen is a Canadian Space Agency Astronaut working with NASA’s Astronaut Training
Branch and as Capcom at NASA’s Mission Control Center (the voice between the ground and the
International Space Station) while he awaits a flight assignment.
