Colin Mochrie joins North Bay’s pride celebrations

North Bay Pride (NBP) has shared that they have secured another Canadian legend to join their virtual pride celebrations.
Colin Mochrie, the Whose Line is it Anyway? veteran, who also won Canada’scomedy person of the year in 2013, will be hitting the stage on Sunday, Sepember 20 at 4pm live from the Capitol Centre.
“It’s utterly amazing to have people like Colin Mochrie and Bif Naked join the North Bay Virtual pride,” says NBP media coordinator Jason Maclennan. “It is enormously important for celebrities to recognize the importance of pride and use their platform to further the right to equality for everyone. Speaking with both of them, they made us feel like fans and our community is particularly important to them. Pride is important for so many reasons outside the celebrations. Equality for all should always be our focus for the betterment of all folks and communities.”
Toronto singer songwriter Paul Manchin will be starting off the Sunday afternoon celebrations. His latest release, “Turn It Up”, is climbing the Canadian charts.
