North Bay officially holds a Guinness World Record

North Bay now holds a Guinness World Record.

Back in June of 2019, Cor Maximus and Rebuilt Resources, in partnership with Nipissing Motorcycle Ride for Dad, held an exercise Ball Class with 499 people. The last record, held by YMCA of Greater Toronto, had 454 people participating.

‘As an Ultimate Ball Class instructor at Cor Maximus, the event seemed like a logical way to promote a healthy lifestyle while making a difference in the lives of those diagnosed with prostate cancer.” said Khouri Long, owner of Cor Maximus.

“One in six Canadian men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetimes and 12 perish from the disease daily”, shared John Strang, co-chair of the Nipissing Ride For Dad. “We were excited to work alongside Cor Maximus and Rebuilt Resources to bring more awareness to our cause”.

“As a strong supporter of our community, we were so proud to be involved in this event. I am an advocate for a healthy lifestyle so this was a proud moment for me,” said Maureen Brazeau, manager of Rebuilt Resources.
