Four men are facing various charges including unauthorized possession of a weapon after police searched a Callander home.
Last Saturday, North Bay Police followed up on a tip that alleged stolen property was being kept at the residence. A search warrant was issued, and officers found nearly 15 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, two stolen bicycles, nunchucks, and a high-capacity firearm magazine.Â
A 36-year-old from Callander, is charged with;
- Two counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime;
- One Count of Possession of a Prohibited Device;
- One Count of Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon;
- One Count of Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon; and
- One Count of Possession of a Schedule I Substance
A 55-year-old from Callander is charged with;
- Two counts Possession of Property Obtained by Crime;
- One Count of Possession of a Prohibited Device;
- One Count of Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon;Â
- One Count of Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon;
- One Count of Possession of a Schedule I Substance; and
- One Count of Possession of Firearm Contrary to OrderÂ
 A 51-year-old from Callander is charged with;
- Two counts Possession of Property Obtained by Crime;
- One Count of Possession of a Prohibited Device;Â
- One Count of Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon;Â
- One Count of Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon;Â
- One Count of Possession of a Schedule I Substance; andÂ
- Two counts of Fail to Comply with Release OrderÂ
A 43-year-old from Callander is charged with;
- Two counts Possession of Property Obtained by Crime;
- One Count of Possession of a Prohibited Device;
- One Count of Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon;
- One Count of Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon; andÂ
- One Count of Possession of a Schedule I Substance
One man is in custody pending a bail hearing, and three have been released. They will appear in North Bay court at the end of March.Â
