The Tory candidate in Nipissing-Timiskaming supports the Conservative Party’s tough on crime policy.
Jay Aspin says he will fight tooth and nail to prevent the legalization of marijuana. He says legalizing pot would be absolutely devastating to this area. Aspin says police have told him the riding is a corridor for drugs being transferred from the United States to out West and legalizing pot would only make the situation worse.
Aspin is running against Liberal candidate Anthony Rota, NDP candidate Kathleen Jodouin, and Green candidate Nicole Peltier.
