The football field at the Steve Omischl Sports Field Complex will soon be dedicated to a familiar name.
On Saturday, Aug. 13, the City of North bay will be officially dedicating the field to Mike O’Shea in recognition of his successful career as a player and coach.
O’Shea, who is Head Coach of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame, will be on hand for the dedication.
The community’s invited to attend. An opportunity to meet O’Shea, who will be signing autographs following the event.
That event is at 2 p.m.
