Operation Winter Warmth is underway.
Low Income People Involvement (LIPI) is working with Rebuilt Resources and the Salvation Army to provide families with winter coats.
Donations are now being accepted until 2 pm on Friday at LIPI on Main Street East and 3 pm Saturday at Rebuilt Resources on Regina Street.
Coats can be picked up by those in need at the Salvation Army on McIntyre St East on Nov. 4-5 and Nov. 8 from 9 am to 4 pm.
Officials say every person in the family will be provided a winter coat but they must be present to collect it.
Only one coat per person will be provided.
They also say hats, mitts and winter boots will also be provided while supplies last.
