The 2022 Municipal Election results have been certified in North Bay.
Peter Chirico was elected mayor along with four returning councillors and six newcomers.
Voter turnout was just over 38 percent.
A total of 15,964 votes were cast, including 11,193 online.
The four Near North District School Board trustees elected include Louise Sargent, Bill Steer, Julie Ann Bertram and Chantal Phillips.
Incumbent board chair Jay Aspin lost his seat.
Four trustees were also voted in for the Nipissing Parry Sound Catholic District School Board.
They include Frank O’Hagan, Barbara McCool, Shawn Fitzsimmons and Shelly Warren.
Incumbent chair Leo de Jourdan lost his seat.
