A 22-year-old city man has been charged after police responded to a report that a person unlawfully entered a residence in North Bay.
City police say at about 4:45 am on Nov. 17 a person entered a residence while it was unoccupied, then left around 7:30 when a resident returned home.
The man was located in the backyard of the residence, according to police, and arrested.
He’s charged with one count of unlawfully in a dwelling house and fail to comply with a probation order.
Police say they aren’t releasing the location of the residence at this time to protect the victim’s identity.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
