There’s still time for those in need to apply to the North Bay Santa Fund.
The deadline is Friday, Dec. 9.
Applications can be made online or in person at the Low Income People Involvement office, located at 127 Main Street East.
When the application process opened, a release stated that inflation has impacted their costs like never before.
According to the Santa Fund website, their fundraising goal this year is $217,000.
For 75 years the program has provided hampers of food and toys to families during the holiday season.
Dec. 9 is also the day of the Moose and Country FM Radiothon, raising money for the North Bay Santa Fund.
The fundraiser takes place from 6 am to 6 pm on Friday.
