You might have to make an extra stop if your morning commute includes the Birchaven and West Ferris areas of the city.
Two new all-way stops are going into effect on Monday, June 12.
One is at the intersection of Mountainview Drive and Wickstead Avenue.
The other is located at Massey Drive and Blair Street.
“Modifications to the intersections aim to enhance safety and improve traffic flow at the intersections,” states a release from the city.
Bylaws implementing the two permanent all-way stops were approved by Council on June 6.
The city is also advising of lane closures on Trout Lake Road for up to two days starting Monday, while areas of the roadway that are delaminated and wheel-rutted are repaired.
