Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the area.
The weather agency says rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 millimeters with locally higher amounts possible.
It’s all thanks to a low pressure system continuing to push into the region Monday and tapering off Tuesday morning.
Officials say the heaviest rainfall is expected Monday afternoon.
However, there still remains some uncertainty with rainfall amounts and the exact track of the low.
