Canada Day is a statutory holiday and that means the usual retail closures on Saturday.
Because it falls on a weekend, most government offices will be closed on Monday.
That includes North Bay City Hall.
City transit buses won’t be running on Saturday, but will be on the road on Monday.
The city also says there is no delay to curbside garbage and recycling pickup next week, with your regular pickup day remaining the same.
The Merrick Landfill is closed on Saturday.
