Stolen vehicle delivered to city police headquarters

The North Bay Police Service didn’t have to go too far to recover a stolen vehicle.

Police say a vehicle left unattended and running at a gas station on Algonquin Avenue was stolen Sept. 23 and then driven to the rear parking lot of city police headquarters on Princess Street East.

Officers located and arrested the accused in the area.

A 30-year-old North Bay man is facing a few charges including theft of a motor vehicle and impaired operation. He was released on an undertaking and has an Oct. 3 court appearance.
