The reconstruction of McGibbon Street, between Cartier and McNamara streets, is getting underway.
The city says the project is scheduled to begin Tuesday, Oct. 10 and is expected to wrap up by mid-November.
The work will start at McNamara Street and progress towards Cartier Street, with sections of McGibbon Street temporarily closed to through traffic.
Officials say access for local traffic will be maintained at all times and detours will be in place through the various phases of the project.
