The City of North Bay has put together a shortlist of 18 possible names in its Name the Plow contest.
Now it’s up to residents to help decide the winning entries.
The full list is below, but a few include Ctrl Salt Delete, Emperor Plowpatine, Fast and Flurryous and Snow More Mr. Ice Guy.
Officials say the list was whittled down from more than 300 creative name suggestions.
Voting for the top five, which will be displayed on the city’s snowplows this coming winter, is being done on the city’s website.
The shortlisted names include:

· Emperor Plowpatine
· Fast and Flurryous
· Frosty the Snow Plow
· Goon Makwa (Ojibwe translation for Snow Bear)
· Gordie Plow

· Melton John
· Mr. Plow
· North Bay Snow Way
· Scoopy Doo
· Shadfly
· Snow More Mr. Ice Guy
· The Snowminator
