Ted talks and campus tours are lined up at Canadore College over the next couple of days.
A TEDx event with three speakers takes place from 9 am to noon on Friday with college officials saying the theme is ‘Futurity: Embracing the Power of Tomorrow’.
Then on Saturday, from 11 am to 2 pm, Canadore hosts its Fall Open House at the Aviation, College Drive and Commerce Court Campuses in North Bay.
Future students and their families can speak with faculty and others about Canadore’s 80+ programs.
Nipissing University is also hosting its Fall Open House on Saturday, from 10 am to 2 pm.
The event includes tours of Nipissing’s campus, facilities, and residences, student service and program-specific presentations and an information fair.
Various members of the Lakers community including staff, faculty and students will be on hand.
