The North Bay Police Association is supporting mental health in our area.
Officials presented Chat4Chad a $8,000 cheque yesterday.
It was raised at their annual golf tournament earlier this year.
The service says the money will help strengthen mental health awareness and supports in the community.
Chat4Chad was established in honour of Chad Ringler, a North Bay firefighter who lost his battle to mental illness in January of this year. The money goes to an outpatient WRAP fund at the North Bay Regional Hospital’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit and Acute Inpatient Psychiatric Unit.
