The 2024 North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has been sworn in and the executive elected.
Ryan Drouin, Manager of Career Development/Sport and Wellness at Canadore College, is back as chair for a second term.
“I thoroughly enjoy working with this board and the staff in learning about the local issues, celebrate the success of business in our community and look forward to continuing to amplify the voice of the business community to foster growth within our district,” he says.
The Chamber’s executive also includes 1st Vice Chair Jim Bruce, 2nd Vice Chair Liam Bowman and Treasurer Melanie Rivard.
Departing members of the board include Natasha Penn and LeeAnne Maille.
“We would like to thank our outgoing board members Natasha and LeeAnne for their dedication to our Chamber and always looking at ways to make our business community resilient and grow,” says Donna Backer, President and CEO. “Our outgoing and incoming boards have diverse background, and all bring their expertise to the table, to continue advocating on behalf of our members and business community.”
The 2024 board also includes nine members from a host of organizations and businesses around the community.
