The North Bay Granite Club is hosting the Northern Ontario Curling Association’s men’s Provincial Masters Playdowns this week.
The event takes place from Wednesday, Jan. 3 through the championship game on Sunday, Jan. 7.
Three rinks from North Bay, two from Sudbury and one each from the Sault and Timmins are competing for a spot at the Canadian Masters in early April in Saguenay/Lac-St-Jean, Quebec.
Spectators are welcome and admission is free at the Granite Club on Trout Lake Road.
On the women’s side, North Bay’s Team Patti Callahan will represent Northern Ontario at the national event.
