Three charged after Tuesday’s King Street incident

Three people are facing charges after a King Street incident earlier this week.

That’s according to the North Bay Police Service, which says shortly before 8:00 a.m. Tuesday (Feb. 20) morning, officers were called to a King Street address where a fight broke out between residents of a home and three people who had attended a earlier in the morning. The service says the residents and the three knew each other.

Police say when officers arrived at a “chaotic scene”, they located several people and a heavily damaged vehicle.

The service says home security footage of the area was obtained with an investigation then launched. As a result, three people face charges including:

  • 3 charges of Assault with a Weapon
  • 2 charges of Mischief
  • 1 charge of Administer a Noxious Thing
  • 1 charge of Assault

All three were released on undertakings and have future court dates.

Police remained on the scene the rest of the day, as a search warrant was obtained. Officials say the house was searched and some items were recovered. The North Bay Police Service utilized the Drone to assist in this investigation, and would also like to thank the OPP Canine Unit that also responded to assist.

The investigation is ongoing.
