The Kiwanis Club of Nipissing is looking for this year’s Citizen of the Year.
Nominations are now open.
Officials say if you know someone, or a small group, that has made an outstanding contribution to the community to consider nominating them.
The deadline is March 27.

Two community leaders were honoured posthumously last year.
The 2022 Citizen of the Year was the late Gary Jodouin while the late Nancy Jacko was honoured as the 2023 Citizen of the Year.
Past recipients include former Mayor Al McDonald, MPP Vic Fedeli, John and Katharine Strang and Clean Green Beautiful North Bay’s Hariett Madigan.
