Congratulations to the Chippewa Secondary School Senior Concert Band.
They won a silver award at the MusicFest Nationals in Toronto last week.
Officials say the band had an “exceptional performance and workshop showcasing excellent dynamics, phrasing, and articulation”.
They also took in a concert by the National Honour Band, visited the Royal Ontario Museum, Ripley’s Aquarium and more.
“Ms. Sunstrum is incredibly proud of the band’s dedication and hard work, practicing after school and early mornings throughout the year,” states a social media post from the school.
