The five Northern Ontario Large Urban Mayors are meeting Monday in Sault Ste Marie.
The group includes North Bay’s Peter Chirico.
Officials say a number of items are up for discussion including funding a new deal with the province, physician recruitment, labour force development and the mental health and addictions crisis.
The other cities in the group include Sudbury, the Soo, Timmins and Thunder Bay.
Chief Administrative Officers from the cities are also at the meeting.
