Powassan Maple Syrup Festival

The Powassan Maple Syrup Festival Returns April 29th Opening Ceremonies and the Pancake Flipping Contest begins at 10 am

Powassan Lions Pancake Breakfast 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
Downstairs in the Curling Club – 433 Main St. (Sportsplex)
Adults – $10 / Kids 6-12 – $6/ 5 and under- FREE
Powassan Legion/St. Joseph’s Church Pancake Breakfast 7:00 am to 11:00 am
In the Royal Canadian Legion – 62 King Street
Adults – $10 / Kids 6-12 – $6 / 5 and Under – FREE
St. Mary’s Church – Pancake Breakfast 7:00 am to noon
St. Mary’s Church – 16 Memorial Park Drive
Adults – $10 / Kids 6-12 – $6 and Under 5 FREE
Offsite Parking and Shuttle Buses
9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Bus Stop for pick up and drop off (250 Clark – east side of the building) Buses will run from Clark Street to off site parking on Highway 534 (Evan Hughes Excavating) and on to Matthews Sugar Bush and back – all day long.
Tour of Matthews Sugar Bush (free bus trip) 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. continuous
Bus pick up and drop off at 250 Clark Street – east side of building – to Matthews Sugar Bush and offsite parking on Highway 534.
Main Stage Music 10:00 am to 2:30 pm
Our Stage will located at the south end of Main Street this year.

Come out and see ALL of the Vendors located inside the Sportsplex.

United Church Maple Baked Bean Lunch 11 am until 1 pm
United Church – 462 Main Street –
Enjoy some delicious Baked Beans, home made bread, coleslaw,, juice/tea or coffee
Adults – $10 / Elementary School – $5 / Preschoolers – FREE
Craft, Food and Maple Vendors All day

Powassan Library Events 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
At the Library – 324 Clark Street
Events include:The Maple Syrup Maker’s Alphabet Storywalk – for familiteis to complete. A tasty treat will be available for those who complete the story related quesrtions in the pamphlet. The Storywalk is funded by the Friends of the Library. Refreshments will be available for a donation and the Friends of the Library will be rafflling a Maple Syrup Themed basket – tickets are available for a donation. The Friends of the Library will also have craft items available for sale. Washrooms will be available.
Glendale Farms – Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, Bouncy Castles and Candy Truck
All Day – on King Street West (next to the Kidz Zone)
Pony Rides – $5 / Bouncy Castle – $3/ Petting Zoo – $2
Masonic Lodge Lunch11 am to 3 pm
The Masonic Lodge will be providing the following for lunch: Octoberfest Sausage on a bun, Jumbo hot dogs and fresh cut fries, Pop, water, tea and coffee.
