Still time to check your municipal voter information online

The city is reminding voters this is the last week to check, update, or add yourself to the voters list online.

Officials say visit registertovoteon.ca to verify your information for the upcoming municipal and school board elections.

They say it only takes a couple minutes to complete. After Aug. 12, changes can be made at the Clerk’s Office at City Hall.

Election Day is Oct. 26.

As of Friday morning, there are nine candidates for council, including three incumbents.

Three people are vying for mayor in North Bay, including two current councillors.

The deadline to file nominations is Aug. 21.
